The EC4 can operate in the same way as the EC3 Add / Subtract counter with additional information shown in the two smaller displays. The left display shows the number of 'plus' counts & the right shows the the 'minus' counts. Alternatively, the EC4 can be used to replace two EC2 Add only Counters. In this mode the smaller displays show the two seperate counts & the large display shows the grand total.
